Title: Activation of Building Constructions for Heating and Cooling
Abstract: Activation of the building construction is a new promising concept that offers new possibilities for energetic optimization of energy flows in buildings and for control of the energy balances in time and space. It has the potential to considerably increase the energy efficiency of the heating and cooling systems as well as the utilization of renewable energy sources by requiring low temperature for heating and high temperature for cooling.
The lecture will present the concept and focus on the challenges in design and operation that needs to be addressed in research and practical application.
